Laxmi Pooni Boiled Rice - 20 LBS

Pooni boiled (parboiled) Sona Masoori rice in a large 20 lb bag, processed to give firm, separate grains that cook up fluffy and non-sticky. It performs consistently for everyday steamed rice and dishes where distinct grains are preferred, and it holds up well in large-batch cooking. Commonly used for South Indian preparations such as idli/uthappam batter and rice plates, as well as plain rice with curries. Store in a cool, dry place; rinse before cooking and optionally soak briefly for more even texture.
