Deep Coarse Sooji - 4 lbs

Coarse sooji (semolina) is a granular wheat flour with a mild, slightly nutty flavour and a firm, sandy texture. It’s commonly used to make upma, traditional halwa, rava idli/dosa batters and as a binder or coating for fried snacks, where the coarse grain provides body and bite. The coarser grind holds up well during steaming and frying and gives a distinct texture compared with fine sooji. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to protect from moisture and pantry pests; in hot, humid climates refrigeration or freezing can extend shelf life.
